Alexandra Rojas

Alexandra has a master’s degree in magazine, newspaper, and online journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Her favorite athletes are midfielder Shirley Cruz and goalkeeper Keylor Navas, Costa Rican soccer players who are playing for the prestigious European club teams Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid. While watching a soccer game, you can find her hissing, gasping, and yelling things at the television that sound like she knows what she’s talking about. She has written for the Central New York Business Journal, covering small businesses owned by minority women. As a journalist, she likes covering stories about business and international and social affairs. Alexandra hopes to use journalism as a tool to break down complicated topics like economics, technology, science, and business.
